Review: Seattle's Best "Bright" Blend

Bought this on sale, $5.99 ($3 off!) for 12 oz whole-bean (pretty expensive, no?).

To my surprise, it was pretty Good; not all scorched like the drip I've gotten at Starbucks. Hard to believe it's even from the same corporation.

I don't see myself buying Seattle's Best again, but if it's what's available....

Q: Why does Starbucks have to burn decent drip coffee like this and then offer to cover up the burned flavor with sugar, milk, and chemicals?

It cuts down on training costs and the "fruity" flavors appeal to people who really don't know coffee. Just some thoughts.
