| Winbatlop | Feb 13, 5:49am | Okay, now you've done it... a memory has been struck. About 6 or more years ago I went into a "Brand X" Coffee house - the kind you find on every corner today - and it was around Christmas. They had three special flavors of the day to choose from. To begin with, I don't typically care for flavored coffee, and I don't care for coffee as strong and bitter as some coffee chains tend to make them, but their you are, and there I was. The server recommended a Vietnamese blend. I loved it. After all these years no one I've asked has any idea what I am talking about when I ask about it.
Can someone here help me, and where can I find some? I live just north of Los Angeles, California. Thanks. |

| Jeweliya | Feb 26, 1:55pm | | If the Server described it as a blend, then it was a combination of different roasts, labeled with catchy name.. could be a reflection of the bean origin or just the bean roaster guy's prefernce that particuliar day. You'd have to go back to that same coffee house and ask for the combination of roasts, then try to make your own or duplicate it through the flavor. Was it mellow? was it bitter? Chocolatey? Licorice? Acidic? Try to identify what you like in your favorite coffee, then set out from there to find "Your" blend. Hope this helps you some... happy sipping! |
